Professor Huang Guoxin of the department of history of Sun yat-sen universitygave an academic report on "the study of economic theory andeconomic history"

On December 10th, professor Huang Guoxing of the department of historyof Sun yat-sen university made the academic report of "economictheory and economic history research", professor Wei Luling,some graduate students and undergraduates listened to the report,which was presided over by associate professor Yang Pinyou.

HuangGuoxin started from the book of hanshu food and goods, and analyzedthe classical economic logic of the narration of "economy"in the official history of China. It is believed that the mainpurpose of traditional state finance is to control population andland. Classical economics starts from production, which createsvalue. He distinguishes between Adam Smith and David ricardo inexplaining the causes of exchange. Mr. Huang then went back to LiangFangzhong, Wu Chengming and other scholars of Chinese economichistory to analyze the rationalization of the traditional Chineseeconomy under the logic of classical economics. They believed thatthe development of traditional economy was "the flow of landrent" and "the flow of taxation". In the end, HuangGuoxin introduced the concepts of market, supply, demand and marginalbenefit in neoclassical economics. He also introduced the latestfrontier achievements in the study of economic history.
