Subject introduction
Thecollege has five disciplines: literature, history, philosophy, lawand science, and four master's degree programs: history of scienceand technology, Chinese history, master's degree in law and master'sdegree in agriculture. At present, there are 116 faculty members,including 18 professors, 9 part-time professors, 37 associateprofessors and 37 masters supervisors. The college began to recruitgraduate students in 1980, and has cultivated more than 200 graduatestudents so far.
1.History of science and technology
Thehistory of science and technology focuses on the history ofagriculture, bases on the south of the five ridges and faces theworld. The research fields are divided into four directions: thehistory of Agronomy, the history of technology, science andtechnology and society, science and Technology Archaeology andheritage protection.
Thisdiscipline began to recruit students in 1980. It is the firstmaster's program to recruit agricultural history postgraduates inChina. It has trained the first agricultural history postgraduates inChina, held the first international academic conference in the fieldof agricultural history in China, the first agricultural historyresearch publication after the "Cultural Revolution" andthe first agricultural history unit to publish papers in China socialscience. It has successively undertaken the National Social ScienceFoundation More than 30 projects and national, provincial andministerial level topics have been published, more than 700 academicpapers have been published; more than 40 works have been published,such as the historical manuscript of China's agricultural science andtechnology, the school note of saving the wasteland, etc.; it has wonthe third prize of national science and technology progress, thefirst prize of science and technology progress of the Ministry ofagriculture, the second prize of National University Humanities andSocial Sciences, the second prize of National Book Award, the highesthonor prize of Guangdong Social Sciences, and the humanities andsocial sciences of Guangdong universities There are more than 20scientific research awards such as the first prize. It has a specialcollection of agricultural historical documents, with a collection ofmore than 80000 volumes. 2.Chinese history
Chinesehistory consists of three disciplines: Ancient Chinese history,modern Chinese history and special history. In the ancient history ofChina, there are several research fields, such as the history ofPre-Qin, the history of Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, southern and NorthernDynasties, the history of Sui and Tang Dynasties, the history of Mingand Qing Dynasties, and the history of ancient rural society; in themodern history of China, there are four research fields, includingthe modern political history of China, the modern ideological historyof China, the modern social history of China, and the modernecological history of Lingnan agriculture; in the special history,there are religious history, the history of Chinese and foreigncultural exchanges, and the history of Lingnan agriculture Thehistory of local culture, the history of Chinese and foreign cropsand cultivation technology.

3.Master of law
Masterof law enrolls full-time and part-time master of law students. Inorder to cultivate a compound and applied legal talents with stronglegal thinking and practical ability, and with the characteristics ofagriculture related and urbanization legal specialty for Guangdongand even the whole country, it is aimed at cultivating talents withmorality and practical application.
Atpresent, there are 23 tutors in this discipline, all of whom havesenior professional titles or doctoral degrees from famous domesticlaw schools, including 6 professors; all of them have more than 10years of legal practice experience, some of them are also employed aslegal advisers of the provincial government and the provincialagriculture and Forestry Department, legislative advisers of theprovincial people's Congress, provincial judges and prosecutors, and32 senior industry tutors are employed from the legal practicedepartment, Form a high standard and capable "double division"team. 4.master of Agriculture

5.Chinese language and Literature
Cultivateinnovative talents with systematic knowledge of Chinese language andliterature and theoretical literacy of literature and art, and withhigh literacy in writing, oral expression, news collection,compilation and evaluation, creative writing, etc.
Thereare 28 teachers in this subject, including 6 professors, 14 associateprofessors and 24 doctors. In the past decade, it has undertaken morethan 10 national scientific research projects, more than 20provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, publishedmore than 20 academic monographs, and won many provincial andministerial awards for outstanding scientific research achievements.In the past two years, the students have won more than 20 firstprizes, more than 100 second prizes and more than 150 Third Prizes.

Thescientific research and teaching of this subject have a gooddevelopment momentum. At present, there are 11 on-the-job teachers,including 2 professors, 3 associate professors, 8 with doctor'sdegree, and 4 teachers with domestic and foreign learning experience.He has presided over many national, provincial and ministerialprojects, published nearly ten works, and many teachers' philosophycourses have been welcomed and affirmed by the whole school students.Over the years, nearly 40 students have obtained master's degree and7 have studied for doctor's degree.
