Teachers of our school participated in the first East Asia RegionalAgricultural Cultural Heritage Symposium

On April 7-10, 6 teachers from the School of Humanities and Law, Schoolof Public Administration, Guangdong Rural Policy Research Center andother units participated in the first East Asia Regional AgriculturalCultural Heritage Symposium held in Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province,China. A total of more than 200 people from representatives of theUnited Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, heads of relevantdepartments such as the Ministry of Agriculture, the Chinese Academyof Sciences, and other scientific research personnel, experts andscholars from China, Japan, and Korea, and representatives of variousheritage sites, discussed the ecological service functions,historical and cultural values, protection and protection ofagricultural cultural heritage. In-depth exchanges and discussionswere held on topics such as development channels.

Therepresentatives of our school submitted to the conference "TheExcavation, Protection and Utilization of the Agricultural CulturalHeritage of Hainan Li Nationality", "Ecological Wisdom inGuangdong's Traditional Agriculture", "The Dilemma of RiceFarming in the Yunnan-Guizhou-Guizhou Mountain Area under thePerspective of Development Anthropology Andother academic papers. During the meeting, Professor Ni Genjin,deputy dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Law and director of theAgricultural History Research Office, and three others also attendedthe third working meeting of the Chinese Academy of Engineering's keyconsulting project "Agricultural Cultural Heritage Protectionand Development Strategy Research".
